CLASSES -

Private Instruction

General Information: These painting classes are set up specifically for adults, who desire an excellent way to sharpen there current skills as an artist and as a way to isolate areas that they may be struggling with. The planned classes are focused on and structured around the 5 foundational parts of every representational painting and a “basic” starting method. They can be altered and structured to fit the individual needs of each student.

Purpose: The purpose of these classes is to allow the student to truly work on areas that need improvement within a focused environment and be able to walk away with a noticeable difference in there paintings.

Class Set Up: Classes will be held at the artist’s studio. Each class period is two hours long with a 5 – 10 minute break at the top of the hour. There is a maximum of two students per class.

Times Available:

I am willing to work with people in regard to time openings – I understand that work and jobs dictate most people’s free time and I’m willing to work within that and teach during the evenings if necessary, etc. Please email  to discuss special arrangements.

Cost and Payment:

For 1 Student: $20.00 an hour - I recommend at least a 2 hour class for most people. I've had good success with 3 and 4 hour classes as well. It gives students a good opportunity to actually get into their painting, run across problems and work together on how to solve them.

For 2 Students: $15.00 an hour - per student. I offer a $5.00 an hour discount when two students take the class together.

Payment is due at the beginning of each class.

I do have preplanned classes for people who are not sure what areas they would like to focus on. I also have classes for beginners who have never painted before. Please contact me for a list of those class descriptions.
